I was really excited when I got an invite to the Fun. acoustic performance at Bowery Ballroom. This small show was the start of their 2012 Fall Campus Consciousness Tour and included a Q&A panel. The band isn't just playing a tour but also working to get a message out. The CCT teams up with The Ally Coalition to spread the message of equal civil rights and gender equality. They also support LGBTQ social movements. The band talked about how their shows provide a place of complete equality - such a wonderful thing to hear and I wish I heard it more often. The tour also stands up against corporate money in politics.
